The evolution to the modern set of irons continues with the Quick Strike Q3 hybrid iron set. Each head in the set is designed to provide to make the shot the easiest for the distance.
The #3 and 4 irons are precision cast hybrids from 17-4 stainless steel and incorporate slight offset with hollow metal-wood type construction. This allows you to hit shots with high trajectory with longer distance than traditional long irons.
The #5, #6 & #7 irons are transition hollow irons featuring a lower profile than traditional irons creating maximum forgiveness while providing high trajectory.
The #8-wedges feature undercut cavities with perimeter weighting making a very forgiving, controllable and solid feeling design in soft 304 stainless steel for scoring.
Q3 irons should be built with ¾” increments between the #3-5 and the usual ½” increments from the #6-wedges. This helps keep the yardage gaps between each club more consistent while providing more distance in the long-iron hybrids.
